Anxiously Engaged?

You’ve done it! You finally found the person of your dreams, and it’s time to start the crazy time that is known as “wedding planning”. Well, you’ve come to the right place! Anxiously Engaged is the site that helps you with your needs as an LDS bride or groom. We all know that LDS weddings are different than other weddings. The engagements are absurdly short, for one! Tell someone who’s not LDS and is engaged that you pulled off a wedding in 3 months, and their jaw drops to the floor! Not to mention how they react when you tell them what your budget was! Yep, Mormons are the champions of stretching a buck. There are other differences as well. Most people don’t have to deal with the extra stress of family tension, when not all family members are able to attend the ceremony. Not to mention if the temple is in a different city, or you are having two receptions, you’re planning several important events in a short period of time.  Yes, LDS weddings are unique with their own special stressors and joys. That’s where we come in. Consider us your helpful aunt, with all the knowledge one needs to plan the perfect, memorable and lower-stress wedding. (You thought we’d say stress-free? Come on, we’re your genius, helpful realistic aunt.)

Here on the blog you will find helpful articles. On the website you’ll find links to temples and vendors that service those temple areas. So, take a deep breath, everything will be okay! Above all, remember that you will be marrying your beloved soon, and that’s what’s most important! If you ever have any questions, or need moral support, or need to find an awesome photographer or florist, come see your auntie!
